I bought a used Toyota corolla 3 months back. On test drive I found the 1NZ-FE engines shakes a bit in neutral gear. Then the seller told me that the spark plugs probably warn out which he replaced and the engine shaking problem was gone.

After 3 months I m again experiencing similar shaking or vibration of engine on neutral position.

Should I just replace the spark plugs or check other parts for this problem?

What type of spark plugs are suitable for my car?

I ran only 2,500 km after I bought it. The car runs on both octane and natural gas. So far the car is running well.

I would appreciate a reply from u with the solution.

If it is a misfire, you should be getting a check engine light?

Use only Denso plugs and make sure that the crush washer is flat on the plug, they can sometimes get "cocked" and cause this problem.
But I would check codes and if a misfire, I would change plugs and again use only the Denso, Toyota suggests.

Your welcome, I am curious, what state/country are you from? The 1NZFE engine is mostly used in the Yaris.
