Problem: Ignition cylinder is locked and the key and will not turn. It will not turn to the ACC position.

How do you get it out under this condition without causing more problems.
This is a replacement cylinder. Changed once before (3 maybe 4 years).

Am I gonna get to 500,000 miles without replacing it again.

Great car otherwise.
Do you

The pin can't be depressed so it must be drilled out.
Just try not to wallow out the hole, you'll need that hole in as good condition as you can keep it to receive the new ignition cylinder. You won't drill it perfectly, I didn't but you should be okay.

Got lucky and one of the tech's at the dealer answered the question. Saved me a lot of
trouble, money, and time apparently.
Piece of cake.

Thanks guys.
