Fuses are good. Could computer be shot and why? Lost fire and fuel after disconnecting negative battery cable with engine running. Now won't start.

Why did you remove the battery cable with the engine running? Who knows what sensors may have been damaged, or even the ECM.

To check if alternator charging since it killed the other battery. I have done tihis on other vehecles and never hurt anything. If charging the engine will stay running if not it will die when cable is disconnected. So what sensors do you think might have been damaged? It (s.) Happens.

Not anymore you can't, that may have been ok in the 70'0, but with computerized engine controls, the sensors are fed 5-9 volts as a reference signal to power the sensor, running with the ground off can fry the computer and or any of the sensors. Start by testing the computer.
