A couple of weeks ago mmprince4000 responded to my question.
Engin dies when the key is released to the "run" position. It will continue to run as long as the key is in the "start" position.
His advice was just as I thought. Ing Switch!
I replaced the Ing. Switch today with no change!
Fuel is ok, Battery ok, No change when jumping from another car. Alt has not been tested by I'm not concerned about the Alt. Should I be?
5 volts out of the coil when key is in the "run" position.
Yes I need some direction!

If ign. Switch was replaced and problem still exists, then I would check wiring to ign. Switch (the rececptacle the key cylinder fits into.

While it is also possible a relay is malfunctioning, they are difficult to check.

What I did was to go to junk yard and remove both fuse/relay boxes in engine compartment. You will then have all the relays, fuseable links you need. Replace one at a time, see if problem persists.

You an usually get both "boxes" for $20.
