1989 Corolla Cylinder problems

89 Corolla Csx 138,000kms 1.6 DOHC 4A-FC
When the engine is cold the 1st cylinder doesnt fire and alot of blue smoke comes out the exaust. When hot the car runs good and no smoke comes out.
Can anyone help me with why this is happening, Thanks

Your valves seals needs replacing and no.1 don't could be a compression problem/bad plug/ and wire to include the no.1 terminal on the distributor cap
