1985 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My car dont start but its making clicking sound when try to start I ried to change battery still same problem. Just before that I used screw driver to start it at the stater it was running but I turned it off that was for good what must I do pls help?

Won't crank at all/nothing -check the starter relay, transmission range switch and ignition switch

Thank you Rasmataz, I just want to find out if there is no oil transimsion what does the car do can it start or not. Replying to this will help a lot.
