Toyota CAMRY1998 3L V6STARTER DOES NOT STOP

Starter does not stop even after the ignition switch is turned to off position. To off the starter had to remove the starter - motor connection. What is the problem and which part has to be repaired or replaced? :Roll:

There could be a few things that are causing this problem. First thing to check is the small wire to the starter motor (10mm nut) remove this connection, and with a test light see if it stays powered up when you turn the key to start and then back to run. If this is switching on and off the problem will be in the starter motor, if the power stays on at the solenoid wire, I would be checking for a sticking starter relay.
