I AM WHEELCHAIR-BOUND AND DECIDED TO SELL MY CAR TO OBTAIN A WHEELCHAIR VAN. THE CAR WAS FINE, JUST HESITATED TO START OVER THE WINTER AND AFTER SITTING W/O DRIVING FOR A WHILE. MY EX-HUSBAND CAME TO THE CONCLUSION--REPLACE BATTERY AND SPARK PLUGS--I'VE HAD THE CAR FOR 8 YEARS AND PUT ONLY 54,000 MILES ON IT--NEVER HAD A MAJOR PRB.--AFTER HE REPLACED BATTERY--HE SAID THE CABLES TO BATTERY WERE WORN, AND HE REPLACED THEM. CAR ALARM HAD TO BE DIS-ENGAGED BECAUSE I LOST THE REMOTE, AFTER ALL THIS, CAR STILL HESITATED BUT STARTED. WHEN HE RETURNED CAR TO ME, THE CAR AGAIN HESITATED TO START, BUT AFTER 1ST ATTEMPT IT STARTED ROUGH--UNLIKE WHEN I STARTED IN THE WINTER. AFTER I REMOVED IGNITION KEY THE CAR MADE A STREAKING NOISE AND AND RAN FOR ABOUT A MINUTE AND A HALF, THEN IT TURNED OFF--AGAIN, KEY WAS NOT IN THE IGNITION-.I PAID AN ON-LINE CAR DIAGNOSES $9.00USD TO TELL ME IT SOUNDS LIKE A BENDEX PROBLEM. MY GIRLFRIEND TOLD ME SHE SUSPECT MY EX-HUSBAND DIDN'T REPLACE THE SPARK PLUGS IN THE RIGHT PLACE. UNFORTUNATELY, I CAN NO LONGER DRIVE THE CAR TO TAKE IT TO A REPUTABLE AUTO SHOP---MY EX. HAD THE HAND CONTROLS REMOVED SO I COULD SELL THE CAR. HELP? I NEED TO SELL THIS FINE AUTO---B4 MY EX. TOUCHED THE CAR IT NEVER SOUNDED THIS ROUGH NOR DID IT STAY IDLELING AFTER I REMOVE IGNITION KEY - HELP?
