A couple of weeks ago my Camry started to act as though missing during acceleration or when climbing a hilll. It seems worse when the engine in warm. When not accelerating or accelerating slowly there is no problem. I suspect an issue with the fuel injector or perhaps a fuel filter. Neither have ever been replaced or worked on in the past. For the heck of it I did check the plugs and they appear fine.

If the car hasn't been tuned up for a long time, I would start with plugs, wires, fuel filter. A general tune up just for maintenance. Chances are one of the plugs is misfiring under a load or you may have too much resistance in one of the plug wires.
