I am having trouble finding info on my classic Toy. I have searched my Toy manual (Chiltons), and online and can find NO info on the temp sender, (sends info to gauge) need to get gauge working!
I rebuilt this engine in auto tech class, may have missed something during reassembly, can you help? I may have plugged the hole where this sender should have been, but I need to know WHERE it is supposed to go! Please help!

Hi floezone,

What is the engine tpye?

It should be near the distributor, in the front end of the head. Hope my engine type is the same as yours.

It's a V6, 2.5l, I believe it's the only 6cyl used in the Camrys.

You said near the distributor, is it supposed to attach to the head itself, or is it supposed to be attached to one of the pipes which enter the head?

Hi floezone,

Sorry, don't have this engine model over here so I am unable to help you.

Lets hope someone else can.

Anyway usually temp sending units are normally located near the thermostat, check around that area and see.

Good luck.
