My Toyota 4Runner, (year 2000 and 69,000 miles), is not starting up when the engine is cold like it use to do. It also won't acelerate to compensate for the extra work of the engine when you turn the air conditioner on. Although sometimes it does acelerate when you turn the a/c, it is suppose to do this every time. Can you help me?

I don't have enough info for anything but an educated guess. Do you have a check engine light? Does the engine idle up when it is cold?

My best guess would be a coolant temperature sensor. Let me know
