While trying to change the front rotors and pads on my vehicle, I took out the wrong bolt. It will not go back all the way. It is a 17 mm bolt on the caliper. What do I do?

Hello, I believe you are talking about the backing plate bolt. Loosen the other 3 bolts a little, enough for it to move around a little, then put the bolt that you took out and slowly put it back in. A little lube will help it. When you have it in the tighten the other bolts little by little until, they all are tightened correctly.
