Timing chain replacement

One of the guides on the right side gave out broken to pieces. I replaced the timing chain and tensioner along with the guides. Everything looks great, chain and sprocket are aligned but when I try to rotate the crankshaft it locks up half way in both directions. Need help.

Good morning,

From the chain failing, you have bent a valve in the motor.

You will need to remove the head and replace the valves.

Okay, I hired a mechanic to check my timing to see if everything was right turns out I put the timing chains backwards if that makes any sense. He managed to rotate it 3 times so I went ahead and built everything up myself and now the car turns on, but now the oil pressure is down on my gauge and the car seems to shut off If I let It idle For about 10 minutes. Or if I stop at a red light. Any advice?

Okay, what is the oil pressure at hot idle and at 1,200 RPMs?

Oil Pressure (Hot 1,500 RPMs) 20-45 PSI

If the pressure is low, it could be the oil pump itself. The pump is behind the timing chains on the nose of the crankshaft. It would mean tearing it down again.

As far as the idle, I would suspect the idle air control.
