Hello friends, I have a problem with my car on the dashboard. I have 2 lights of the tcs, one stays on and says (tcs off) the other is normal, when I turn on my car it accelerates to 2000 RPM and does not lower the rpm and when I try to start the car it turns off.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

The first thing I hate to ask is this. Did you press the traction control switch to see if the system can be reactivated? If so and it doesn't work, you need to test the actual switch. It is located on the steering column. First, you need to remove the switch. Here are the directions for removal. Picture 1 correlates with these directions. You will need to use a multi meter to perform the test. Here are a couple links you may find helpful:

2. Disconnect the connector.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Switch testing

TCS OFF SWITCH INSPECTION
1. Remove the TCS OFF switch.

See pic 2

see pic 3

2. Inspect for continuity between the TCS OFF switch terminals using an ohmmeter.
If not within the specification, replace the TCS OFF switch.

Perform this test and let me know what you find. If you have questions or need help, let me know.

Take care,

Thank you for taking the time to help me. I want to tell you that I solved the problem by changing the coolant temperature sensor, so everything in the car was solved. I do not know why the car failed, just because the coolant temperature sensor was damaged, but It seems that everything works perfect. I appreciate your help and thank you.
