Hello,

It sounds like the tail light relay or number a22 fuse is out but to be sure lets run these tests on the fuse and relay. Here is the wiring diagrams for the tail lights so you can see how the system works with the relay and fuse location:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is. The fuse panel is in the left rear of the engine compartment.

Diagram you sent is for 2017 Acura RDX, are they similar. They are total of four fuse boxes, which one does this corresponds to, and what should I look for?

My bad, I updated the post above to include the correct vehicle and all the relay and fuse locations so you can keep this page as a reference to any electrical problem you might be having. Check the post above for the updated information. Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Can you direct me to the fuse or relay I should be checking? I’m not a electrical guy, have hard time reading it.

No problem. Lift the hood and you should be able to find the fuse box in the left rear of the engine compartment. If you have trouble please take pictures or video and upload them in your response. Remove the lid to expose the tail light relay. Let me know what happens.
