Surging, off of idle

This car idles great, but as soon as you press on the accelerator it will start surging, like it is hitting the rev limiter.
Just can't figure it out.
Things that have been changed: idle air control, mass air, cam sensors, spark plugs, had to replace all intake gaskets,
Does it closed loop or open loop.

Hello,

This sounds like your vehicle's Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is or has failed and is causing your vehicle to enter "limp mode". In the diagrams down below I have included a description of how your vehicle's TPS works as well as it's location on your vehicle and also how to test it as well as the proper setting for adjusting it. Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.
