Car surges and shuts off at idle. If you put it in gear and give it gas it shuts off. If it's in park and give it gas it will shut off. I have replace the fuel pump a week ago and since then I have replaced the mass airflow sensor, the mat sensor, the coolant temperature sensor, throttle position sensor. I have checked the fuel regulator diaphragm, but I don't know how to check fuel pressure. Can you tell me how to check for fuel pressure or any other suggestions that I need to check?

Hi,

This does sound like a fuel issue so checking fuel pressure is a good idea.

However, we have other sensors that need to be looked at starting with the throttle position sensor. Also, check and make sure the throttle bore is clean.

I attached a few guides that need to be run through to see if we can identify the issue.

Let me know what happens. Thanks
