hi, fitted my boost gauge, all working! 2 wires coming out off the back of it 1 yellow & 1 black. Where do I connect the live (yellow) so it comes on when put lights on/ goes off when lights out.

Thank you for the donation.

The wires are for the illumination. You have to connect the yellow wire to a lighting circuit. It could be the illumination lights for the taillights, meter cluster, cigar lighter etc.

The wire to be connected should be Red/Yellow and has voltage only when the lights are turnewd ON. If the boost gauge is at center of dash, the cigar lighter or radio wires would be more accessible. If it is on the pillar, the easier way would be to splice it into the taillights wires under dash or to fuse # 5 in underdash fuse box.
