Starts no crank

The truck would not fire unless you bypassed the starter with a jumper wire. This worked fine until... He pulled the wrong relay out and tried to fire it in the ignition relay holes. Now it will not fire at all. There is no power to the ignition relay. We changed the crankcase position sensor. I checked all the fuses associated with cranking, ignition and so on. Also, my data port is reading ERROR...

Hi,

Wow, how did you get that many miles on the vehicle so fast? LOL As far as the issue, have you checked all fuses? Also, if the ignition relay fuse has failed, many other components will fail as well. See pic 1 below.

Here is where I would start. First, check the ECM fuse in the under-hood fuse box. If it is good, confirm there is power to it with the key on.

Next, I need you to check pin 16 in the data link connector for power. See pic 2. That pin should have battery voltage at all times.

Let me know what you find.
