There are a few things going on.

1. Turn key to on position and there is no power to cab like windows, radio, wipers, heater, etc. For 25-30 seconds then the power comes.

2. When you first start the truck and take off you have a lot of power 2 blocks down the road it loses power and its gutless.

3. When you start it you can drive it but if you shut it off it will not start again for hours but it will start like t by e next day.

It all worked good until I had new heads put in because the started to leak antifreeze through a hole in the heads so we bulletproof the motor but it's not to bulletproofed.

I am not sure all this is related but let's start with tackling the loss of power issue and then we can get another post started for the other issues if they are not corrected as well.

The lack of power after head replacements is not uncommon but it is odd that your vehicle has power then it does not. That does not seem related to a mechanical issue but more of a control issue. So let's start with the basics.

Can you check for codes and then also monitor the fuel pressure when this happens? Here are guides for both these requests that will help if you need that:

Let's run this down and if it does not solve the other issues then we will need to start a new post for those as we need to keep each post to one topic. Not only so that we can stay focused on one issue and resolve it but so that others can find the solution to each issue if they have the same concern. They won't find it under other headings so let's just start with this and work our way through this. Thanks
