It all started about two days ago. My car dragged to crank, but it cranked up got to my location. Tried to crank it a hour later only got a clicking sound. I tried jumping it from the starter relay it clicked a couple times then it stopped. So I took the starter off had it rebuilt at a electric shop, put it back on and still the same thing. What could be the problem?

That sounds like a battery problem not the starter. Have the battery tested. Then if it tests discharged but good you should be able to charge it and get the car running and get the charging system checked.

That will shut it down. I would check the draw on the new starter as well. Those fuses do not normally blow for no reason. Could be a short that acts up now and then.

I blew the fuse while trying to jump the starter by the starter relay and the starter was locked up at the time. So I removed the starter had it rebuilt put it back on, replaced the fuse and it started. I have not had a problem since.
