I turn the key to start the car it clicks once, almost as if the battery is dead. Turn the key one more time and it starts right away, with no hesitations. I have a new battery. This has been going on for about two weeks.

Hello, I am Danny.

Sounds like the starter solenoid is beginning to fail. I have attached a link showing you how to remove/replace the starter. Once removed you can take it to your local auto parts store and they will test it for free. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any other questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thank you. I need to get in there and see what kind of starter it is, to see if I can just replace the solenoid.
