Car will not start. All fuses area fine. All dash lights come on. Heater, radio, AC, clock, hazards, blinkers, dome light and horn all work. No clicking noise when key is turned. Alternator battery and stater all replaced in the last year. Turn the key and nothing. Just lights. Was intermittent at first but now engine will not turn over.

Good afternoon.

Do you have a volt meter or test light to do some checks?

I would start at the battery to test for sufficient voltage.
Try starting in neutral to see if the park/neutral switch is the issue.

Is there a clicking noise when you turn to start?

No voltage meter. We moved the shifter to "N" and it did not start. No clicking. Moved it back to park and tried to move it to "N" again but it would not move. We heard a click and electrical noises from just around the air filter housing. Possibly a round item just below the housing. However, after about ten times of starting in a row the car started for about five times before I stopped. I am going to drive it to a shop to get it fixed. However, I do appreciate your suggestions so I know the shop is on the right track as well.
