Hello,

Car listed above is not supercharge.

Have replaced fuel pump and filter. Thermostat housing and coolant temperature sensor along with cam shaft sensor.

Have spark

Turns over but would start in not using starting fluid down intake snorkel.

Cold compression

no oil added for test.

took apart throttle body no much carbon and clean it with throttle body cleaner along with MAF.

Originally had over heating issue but think have that licked.

Did see there was an ambient air sensor but use bore scope for plastic intake nothing cracked.

will check for codes tomorrow.

Thank you.

Hello, I'm Danny.

You might want to check the fuel pump relay to see if its good and powering the fuel pump. Here is a tutorial showing how to test relays:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

You mentioned you will be checking for codes. Here is a tutorial showing how to retrieve diagnostic codes:

Get back to us with what you find and we'll go from there. I've attached a picture below showing the fuel pump relays location. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hello,

Thank you for this and will give it a go. One thing to mention it's a 2005 not 2001. It will run fine one started. I will test fuel pump relay. I do hear the fuel pump priming up one you turn the key to start.

Hello again.

Get back to us with what you find, especially any codes and we'll go from there. The fuel pressure specification for your car is 44 PSI. Thanks again for using 2CarPros and Happy Holidays.

Hello,

Using scan tool got a P0300 multiple misfire on all cylinders. Look and googling around on code found out the GDI engines are prone for carbon build up on intake valves. Plugs are new along with wires and coil pack. Car will run if started on ether and runs fine.
