I see this is common and I have dealt with this before and fixed it by replacing the crank shaft position sensor. Again threw a code for lean on one and the crank shaft position sensor. Replaced it for a second time only this time it didn't fix it. :( Now there is no code and I have replaced the EGR valve and the map sensor. Got in and excitedly it started and I drove 30 minutes home great with out any issue. Next day. Went to go to work and it wont start again! Won't star at all. So many diagnostics I can't really do with out being able to at least get it started and no codes. What originally happened was I was driving not a problem one at 50 mph. Out of nowhere it stalled out. 20 min of cranking it over it roughly started. It would coast with out issue. As soon as I added gas it shuts off unless I keep the pedal floored and the rpm's are all over the place until it eventually stalls out again. It had the crank shaft position sensor code and lean on one. As I had done once before I replaced it. But it didn't fix it this time. Now there is code. Done the EGR and the MAP which fixed it for the drive home like I said before. But now it won't start again, at all. I do not know if I should try the fuel pressure regulator or the mass air flow sensor or maybe even the throttle position sensor! Oh, one thing I did do right before it ran all the way home besides the map and the EGR and the CPS is go to replace the fuel press regulator. I took it off but then realized I got the wrong one from the u pull it yard and put the old one back on. Could that have drained any gas that built up in the fuel pressure reg before putting it back on and maybe that's why it ran the one time? Also fixed a broken vacuum hose that connects to the side of the old fuel pressure regulator. I know this is a super long question but thought you should know all the details. Please help. Between Uber's and car parts i'm going to be stuck permanently if I don't get this next part right.

Good morning,

Can I have the code numbers?

Did you check the fuel pressure? A weak or bad fuel pump will cause this issue.

When it does not start, does the tachometer move up a little and show RPM? That will tell me if the crank sensor is sending a signal to the ECM
