My car was making a clattering noise by the belt and pulleys, when you give it gas the noise would weaken. Check engine light would come on and off. It just stalled while driving and now it will turn over but will not crank.

Hey CHAD1327

When the engine is cranking over does it sounds normal or does it sound like it is turning over very easy? This is because it sounds like a timing belt or chain that has broken. Can you see if the engine compression? here is a guide to help.

Yep that's what I thought, see if you can remove the oil fill cap to see if the cams are turning when the engine is being cranks over, you can also watch this video to see if the engine as compression, this test takes no gauge.
