When I start up my truck it starts squealing immediately but sometimes when I crank up my truck it won't squeal at all. Also sometimes not often but when I come to a full stop and sit there for like 15 seconds it will start to squeal, but it's not very often that it happens.

Good evening,

This sounds like the drive belt or the tensioner not keeping the belt tight.

I would replace both the belt and tensioner.

Okay, see it initially started a couple months ago after I changed the alternator but for some reason I didn't inspect the belt while I had it off.
Would it still squeal if the belt was too tight?

No, it would not. Only if it is loose.

Okay, thanks. I really appreciate it and I have a v belt system. Would you suggest just changing the one that goes to the alternator or changing all 3 of them?
