When I am driving down the road about thirty five mph and the speedometer shows around one hundred mph. I cannot seem to figure out where the problem is or where to start diagnosing the issue. Could you please help figure it out where to start or what you think the problem would be and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Sebastian

Hello, I am Danny.

I did some research on your vehicle and found it has an Input and also Output Speed Sensor. It sounds like you might be have a problem with one or both of these sensor or something in the wiring circuit affecting the incorrect reading of your speedometer. Unfortunately, testing these requires a special scan tool that bypasses the transmission to perform these tests. This tool is called the Transmission Simulator, Miller tool #8333 and also is used in conjunction with Electronic Transmission Adapter Kit. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi and thank you for your input. I did find the problem and you are right about the input and the output switch. My mother in-law accidentally press a switch for Kilometers and the mph option that allows to switch those options. Thanks once again.
