We just got a used Chrysler Pacifica and are trying to see how we can play the DVD's from the disc changer in the front to play on the overhead screen in the back. Right now it just plays the movie audio through the car speakers. Is there a way the headphones will work if you incert the disc in the front seat, and can we also just let the video play through the speakers so the back seat won't need to use the headphone? We can get the DVD player to work when the disk is actually incerted into the overhead player itself, but that is it. There is also a slight hum or buzz in the headphones, would that be due to a problem with the headphones themselves, or possibly something else?

Hi, What You Are Trying To Do Will not Work. First The Six Cd Changer Is Not A Dvd Player, It will Only Read Audio Not Video. You Can Play Your Dvd Movies In Your Overhead Dvd Player Only. Every Car Manufacture Is This Way. The Slight Hum In The Headphones Is normal. They Are Wireless, This is Normal

Hope This Helps You.

I suppose that makes a little sense. I just didn't understand why it says DVD/CD player on the disk changer and also have a separate CD player too. Well I suppose that is reassuring that there isn't a problem with our system. Thank you for your quick response.
