My Ford Bantam's speedometer not working everything else on cluster works. If I do a cluster test everything works. I replaced the speed sensor on the transmission but it still does not work.

More than likely this is an issue with the cluster or the PCM. Basically, if the PCM is not getting a signal to the cluster via the communication network then the PCM is the issue.

We can start by checking the vehicle for codes and find out if we have any bus issues. Here are a couple of guides that will help with this:

I am attaching the info below on the way this works which will give more details. However, if there are no codes then the likely issue is the cluster.

Please run through this info and let us know what you find. Thanks

If I insert a new cluster, must I reset something or what? When I tested the sensor on another bantam and the speedometer needle jumped when I turned the sensor with my hand all my connecters and wires is right the signal where goes directly to the cluster. Is there may be a way to reset cluster? I think they one I tested was faulty found it at the scrap yard.

Unfortunately, there is no reset to get this working but if you do the cluster test and it passes then it is likely not getting a signal. However, if you have no codes and you got this cluster from a scrap yard then I suspect that is the faulty part.

Thanks for the update and let us know what happens. Basically, if you put the sensor on another vehicle and it works then this is fine and the cluster is likely the issue.

Thanks
