Brakes goes to floor, but car stops and when pressed. the engine idles up and down.

Good afternoon,

This sounds like you have a bad brake booster. When it leaks vacuum, the idle will change. It should never change.

Thanks. forgot to mention that ABS light be on also

Okay, that is a separate issue. There is a fault code stored in the ABS module. I need that code to further help you. You can have it read for free at a parts store.
