Small white hose broken

While removing a seized alternator a small white hose somehow got sliced. Can you please identify the part (in the picture) and suggest how to repair? Thank you!

That is a vacuum line to the heat control valve to the upper left. The easiest fix is a connector that you can get at most parts stores. It is basically a short piece of rubber tubing that is a tight fit over the plastic. If you have some rubber vacuum line it will work as well as long as it is a tight fit.
