Also in low speed scenarios like parking lots if you barely tap the accelerator and let off the rpm's will drop really low and it will sometimes stall. It has an SES light and it comes up as a TPS sensor which I changed but it didn't help anything. I am not sure what the problem is.

Hi,

The TPS code would absolutely cause this. So when you replaced the sensor did that code come back? If so, what is the actual code? Are there any others?

Let me know this info and we can go from there. Thanks

I can't remember the exact code. I had a mechanic scan it and yes it came back almost immediately after installing the new TPS. There was 3 in total 2 was for TPS and there was 1 for the TCM voltage that only showed up on one of the bigger snap on scan tools. I will get the exact TPS codes tomorrow at AutoZone, but I wont be able to get the TCM code for awhile.

Okay. Sounds good. If the TCM code is no longer there then don't worry about it. I suspect you have a wiring with the TPS but the codes will help confirm that or not. We will probably need to do a little testing but I am sure we can figure this out.

Thanks
