When I shift to drive it jerks loud and scary. Shift to reverse is okay. Which solenoid controls the Drive? My car has 6 shift solenoids, or so it appears, but I need to know which solenoid controls the drive, reverse is okay.

Good morning,

I found and posted below the possible issue with shifting shock, as they call it, for your transmission. It is not the shift solenoid, it is a internal clutch issue with the transmission.

If it were a shift solenoid, it would code and set the check engine light.

Most likely you will need to have the transmission removed and inspected for the underdrive clutch pack.
