We this SUV brand new it now has 160,000 miles on it get all of its service regularly just had the 150,000 miles inspection and service in December. Now for the last few weeks every once in a while it will pop up the service stabilitrak/traction control traction control off its done it when we 1st start it and its done it when getting on the brakes and when just driving around. Does no throw any codes in the computer. What would cause that to pop on everything seems to work fine and as intended

For this you have to have a mechanic scan for codes if there is something wrong with abs it kicks off traction control. It may be a piece of rust on a sensor as they are magnetic so will pick it up then they fall off. So check that.

No it wont the light needs to be on, you said you just had the brakes done? It could be the rotor stator or axle bearing problem that creates a larger than normal air gap. Can you recheck the work?

Yes I can. It will be tomorrow at the earliest. Is there something specific I need to look for? The drivers front hub assembly was replaced around 130k I believe I know it was earlier last yr sometime. And what do u mean by a larger then normal air gap?

The air gap between the sensor and wheel for sensor. Look for rust I think tha tmay be your problem a piece of rust gets in there and screws it up.

OK I tryed testing them never could get anything to show up on the multi meter for voltage not sure why I followed the video.L the light did finally come on and stayed on for a day. I really couldn't see how any rust could get to them they are sealed in side the axle . But I did take the brakes all apart and did pull the abs sensors out cleaned them and put them back in then put the rotors and brakes back on. The light did go away for now I guess. The wife said it's been off all day and we do live 30miles from town. She will probably put 100 miles today alone on it. I guess we will see how long it stays off are if there was just a loose connection. Hopefully no more problems as I do head to Vegas (990 miles one way) on Monday night to take the boy down there to wrestling. But thank you guys for are the help I will keep you updated if I have any more problems with it . And thanks again Gavin
