My SES light came on I tightened gas cap and it went out. A few msg later it came back on. AutoZone told me I needed to plugs and wires. I got that done and light did not go off. I had them done approximately 3 months ago less than 2,000 miles however light still remains on. Mechanic read code (don’t remember, sorry) was emission leak. Could it be a bad gas cap? Fuel filter or 02 sensor? I appreciate your time and am thankful for your advice.

Good evening,

I need the codes to help you.

Can you go back to the parts store and have them read the codes and let me know the numbers? That will help me narrow the area of failure for you.
