Hello,

As you are looking for solenoid D, UD clutch solenoid, we can assume that P0765 is set.
The solenoids are located to the left and right of the valve body, so take care when disassembling the valve body
First, I would suggest checking the wiring to the solenoid connectors, to ensure that the wiring is still intact.

Solenoid D is the upper solenoid towards the engine side, see image 1.
For a complete diagram see image 2, the solenoid is item 2

After repair, please ensure that you fill the transmission with the correct fluid to the correct level.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Boris

Thank you, yes this helps. I have another question. Can the solenoid D be replaced inside the vehicle transmission? Also, can you send a different diagram of the solenoid D location? Thanks

Hello,

Solenoid D or OD solenoid is located in the valve body to left, see image 1, circled in red
Once you have accessed the valve body and located the OD solenoid you can test the solenoid by using a multimeter/voltmeter. Check resistance of the solenoid pin to pin.
Specification: Approximately 2.7-3.4 ohms [20°C (68°F)
You can also test the resistance of the solenoid externally, at the transmission connector.
Disconnect the connector and measure resistance across pins 12(black wire)+6/5(orange wire).
See image 3 below
The reading should be the same as at the solenoid, the measurement should be done with ignition off.

How to use a voltmeter:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-voltmeter

Also inspect the connector at the solenoid for possible broken wires, see image 2.
They do suffer from poor wiring issues, bad solder joints.

Cheers, Boris
