My son went to lock seat 2nd row single seat back in to position. One claw was closed. So one locked on and one didn't. We cannot get either the one to open tp lock or release the one that's locked on. I have 5 kids and need the seat to work.

If I understand this then basically the seat is stuck because the frame is now crocked due to one latch being closed but resting on the latch and the other is locked properly?

If this is the case then you are not able to unlock the one that is latched properly because there is so much tension on it that you cannot move the handle.

What I would do is try to push the seat back backwards (towards the rear of the vehicle) as much as possible and have someone operate the latch at the same time to try and relieve the tension so that the latch will release and then you can operate the handle again and it should release both latches so that you can close it properly.

Worst case, you may have to remove the seat to be able to release these.

The process to remove it is below. Please take a look at this and let us know what you find. If this is not what the issue is can you get a video of what you are dealing with and then we will have a better idea what to do? Thanks
