2003 Ford Expedition Message center going crazy

Message center display turns on and off along with interior lights while scrolling through differnent messages. The door is ajar bell goes off when there are no open doors. Almost like some kind of electrical short.

According to my wiring diagram, they all go to the interior lamp relay/microprocessor in the instrument cluster, which my locator doesnt show a seperate location on. Might be part of the entire cluster. Do you hear anything clicking in the dash when this happens?

No clicking sound. Also, when locking the truck using the remote, sometimes it chirps twice as if a door where open when all the doors are secure. The forward overhead reading lights go on and off by themselves. Very strange. What will I need to replace. I hear the cluster may be $1000.00 plus labor at the dealer?

Might want to start by having the PCM scanned for body codes to see if it sees anything wrong, might save alot of tail-chasing
