2002 SATURN SL2, SEEMS TO GO INTO NEUTRAL AND THEN BANG INTO GEAR WHEN GOING UP A HILL OR WHEN DRIVING WITH A HEAVY FOOT. IT CAN ACTUALLY HURT, IT FLOATS AND BANGS INTO GEAR. WHEN DRIVING EASY IT SEEMS FINE EXCEPT ON A STEEP HILL. FLUID LOOKS FINE. ELECTRICAL? A MECHANIC DROVE IT AND HE THINKS IT MAY BE ELECTRICAL?

First of all thank u so much for ur donation. Do u have any codes in the computer if u did that would be really helpful if its shifting the way I would think there would be some transmission codes u would have to take it to some place that can read transmissin codes.I know aamco used to read codes for free not sure if they do anymore. Also I have seen restricted cats cause shifting issues. Well let me know what u find on the codes so we figure this out. Also a bad alternator could cause weird shifting so u good go get a free test at autozone. Let me know what u find so I can help u better.

Yes I mean the cat convertors who can't get codes? To get codes from the transmission u need more then those code readers u can get at any auto parts store u need one that can read transmission codes. To check the cats u can have them checked for excessive back pressure. Without transmission codes I would say check the transmission pressure and do a step pressure test. Let me know what u find is ur trans fluid at the right level?Let me know what u find.
