Shakes or Wobbles problem
1997 Saturn SL2 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

OK we have a a issue that we haven't been able solve. When we start the car we have to push the gas pedal all the way down to the floor. We went to auto zone, and had the people hook up the code tool, and can back with the following:code Po327-Knock sensor, and P0300-cylinder misfire. We still don't know what the issue is. We replaced the fuel filter in the front, replace some hoses for the fuel line. There is also oil in the one of the spark plug chambers, and we know the seals there have to be replaced but will the stop the idling high and dying when at stop lights? We also had to rig the fan to a trigger switch to get it to come on, it didn't before. Had the relays tested and they work fine. SO any help on what to do would be great please!

Sound's like you have a few problem's let's start with the starting and cooling fan.Wire your cooling fan back up the way it's suppose to be and replace your coolant temp sensor make sure you get a brass tipped one the plastic tipped one's crack. Also inspect the connector to it if it's corroded you will have to replace that as well. That will fix your fan and starting problem also probably your high idling and stalling as well. The reset the code's and see which one's come back. Also have you replaced the valve cover gasket the outer one and the inner one the one around the plug well's?That's what fixes the oil in the plug well's.I posted a diagram to show you where the coolant temp sensor is there only 10.Let me know what you find.
