If I drive my saturn for less than about three miles on a warm day, as soon as I turn it off, it will not start again for at least an hour, sometimes it takes up to three hours to start again. It does not even attempt to turn over. If I drive it over three miles and get on the highway however, it is fine. I have has the ignition switch replaced, the alternator and started checked and they are in good condition. Any idea as to what the problem is?

So the engine doesn't spin over at all when it's hot?Make sure ur battery cables are clean and tight. Sounds like u might have a bad starter then wen it gets hot it stops working. Do u have a multimeter to do some tests when it doesn't start?Let me know.

No I don't. I have a new battery too, and the radio and lights work when I turn the key, it's just that the car won't turn over.
