Car has no reverse and a problem with shift from 1st to 2nd code is po732 gear 2 ratio is incorrect. Is this a solonoid problem that can be repaired or is a transmission rebuild in order.

You could have a loose input shaft nut that would cause you to have no reverse. You could also have a 2nd gear piston leaking down or a bad 2nd gear actuator or a bad connector bus plate or wiring from the pcm to the valve body without checking these thing's you can't be sure which one you have.

If your talking replacing the valve body that would take care of a possible pressure issue the actuator the bus plate but not the 2nd piston in the transmission if it was leaking. Or a loose input shaft nut or wiring to the pcm or the pcm itself.
