I noticed my trannsmission was leaking, I let it run and watched it it looks like its coming from the end part of the trannsmission on the drivers side only does it when its hot, would could it be? As well when I put my car in reverse it kind of hits mainly in reverse not so bad when changing gears? Could I need a whole new transmission?

So the transmission side cover is leaking? As far as the delay bang into reverse? It could be a low pressure issue inside the transmission or a loose input shaft nut. Pressure test on the transmission will tell you which is the problem.

So is it leaking from the gasket area or the cover itself?
