The engine of my saturn continually runs rough.   There is no loss of power or performance at any speed.   When shifting from neutral to drive the roughness increases.   Similarly the rough running reduces when shifting from drive or reverse to neutral.

So let me get this straight it the rpm's stay steady you just have a vibration?

There is no change in the performance of the engine.
The vibration increases in its frequency, but there is no change in amplitude with increased engine speed.

Alright if it vibrates in gear I would suspect you have a bad transmission mount.
