1999 Saturn L200 118, 00 miles

1999 Saturn, 118,000 miles. Car stopped while driving and would not start. Replaced alternator. Car started, but after parking in driveway at end of the day, it did not start the next morning. Replaced battery. Would not start. Towed to local auto repair. Car started for mechanic before he began working on the car. Mechanic could not identify any reason car did not start. Picked up car. Started right away and drove home. Car did not start the next day. Towed car to Saturn dealer. Car started for mechanic before he began working on the car. Mechanic started car throughout the day with no problems. Kept the car a second day. Tried driving the car and then parking, but still restarted. Any ideas of what could so unpredictably cause car not to start.

Next time it will not start immediately check for fuel or spark problem.

Get helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

Starter does not turn over at all as if there is no battery in car. This has been the problem throughout. Key turns and there is no response at all

Would any of these switches be affected by car being towed. Car has been started dozens of times since being towed to dealership and starts every time.
