Runs then shuts off

When running will just shut off and start right back up. Showing code 42. Put new wires, plugs, and fuel filter.

42 - Electronic spark timing (EST) circuit grounded.

This fault code refers to the white wire between the distributor and the engine computer. Inspect that wiring harness, particularly where it runs through the firewall. You may have luck finding the cause by flexing the harness while the engine is running.
