Engine will not start

I replaced the water pump in the timing belt it started for maybe thirty seconds then the battery went dead. I charged the battery and I'm betting the 30 amp fuse blown under the dash and wont start.

So does the engine crank over or it cranks over but wont start? Please let me know.

It cranks but I noticed wires to cam sensor was cut I spliced it it acts like it was to start but no luck.

Can you turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine to see if your hear the fuel pump run for five seconds?
