Renault Scenic enjin makes ratteling noise

Good day my renault is making a ratteling sound when a start it not always but most of the time and also when I drive the car makes that noise sounds like n diese enjin please help I don't knw what could it be?

I need you to start by checking the exhaust system. Make sure the catalytic converter isn't plugged and causing the noise. Place the vehicle on a flat surface turn the engine off and apply the parking brake and place the transmission in gear so that car won't move. At this point, simply take a rubber mallet and tap on the exhaust system to see where the noise if coming from.

Let me know what you find. If my beliefs are correct, the catalytic converter is loose inside and is causing both the noise and the restriction is causing the diesel sound.

Good day thank you so much for coming back to me, we did what you told us to do but still it makes the same noise and the car has no power when I go up a hill its so slow I think I can walk next to the car something aint right?
