2003 Renault Scenic car will not start

2003 Renault Scenic

when I put my key card into start the car, the car wont start and theres a message coming up saying steering unlocked consult handbook. Also the steering wont lock at all.

The steering lock is electronically controlled by the BCM(body control module) .. this is preventing the car from starting because there is a fault on the system somewhere ..the handbook will explain how to reset .. you may have to take the car to a renault dealer to have the module read by diagnostic computer to locate the actual fault !!
